Looking amazing John!

This aircraft will certainly have a "presence" in the air.

Will you be doing any weathering or are you going "factory fresh"? I'm hoping you will at least add some exhaust staining.

YeahTony, that was off the top of my bald head. I honestly couldn't remember since I never bought it, always filled up at my Dad's shop.
I do remember "gas wars" when it got down to 15 cents/gal or so.

Brad,
I had completely forgotten about the exhaust stains. I already freaked out when I saw Jim's Spad with the no-skid panels on the wing. Frantically got in the book and checked the net for pics, luckily the SS didn't have them. Tell you what, if it flies well, I'll go back and add the stains for an update.
At this point I'm just ready to be done frankly.
Have started gathering parts and equipment for the winter build already.

It's done. Not perfect but DONE! Shop stinks like . Poor air cleaner working overtime.
It came out decent, there are some spots wetter than others, just couldn't cure that. And of course my shop environment doesn't
lead to a dust free surface. On the stab I started spraying and dust flew out of the hinge line. Thought I had cleaned it all but.......
And again, I can't say enough about this LMF on the canopy. 20 min after finishing I pulled it and it was flawless. Really glad I started
using it instead of it laying on the shelf.
Try to get some glamour shot tomorrow if the weather allows. I decided to start mowing my own lawn this year and so far we are
20" over our average rainfall! Lawn grows like the Amazon jungle.

Thanks guys
Just noticed I have the red stripes a little too close together. And only did it twice! Too late now.
Oh well, we're the only ones that will know.

Really looks super and ready to go. I know what you mean about lawns, too. I have to do my lawn almost twice a week.
