I think 6S is mostly about getting better efficiency, and less strain on the batteries. It seems that on 5 inch, the opinion starts to lean to 6S being better, on smaller quads the benefits appear less clear cut.

I decided on the lighter 6s model with the akk dvr and ECO 2306 1700 motors with t5143 props which were recommended for the Brotherhobby R6 2205 1750. I have some 5046Cyclones just in case. This thing is just for fun and experience.

And yeah, until batteries can pack more punch 4s seems to be the sweet spot for 3" but then there's no doubt some next level something just around the corner. Ducted-Fire-Breathing-MOTORS anyone?!
