Takeoff with my erroneous elev travel was a handful, immediately switched the elev to low rate and worked great. Coincidentally, itís accidentally Herb's elev value, measured from the trailing edge.

Anyway, flies outstanding. 13 mph wind today. I flew with AS3X off, then on, and surprisingly it handled well with no gyro. The AS3X locked it in more, as youíd expect.

Those that say it has to land fast, Iíd say work on moving your CG back possibly or holding a nice flare at touchdown. Mine slows down NICELY.

Reminds me a lot of my FW F-16 70mm.

My 5000ís were full aft and netted me 5:30 flight times with mixed throttle. Hereís a pic of the gps'd speed reading (crosswind)
Pretty incredible! Radar readings on mine (with a 4000mah) were 113mph as well.

Just ordered a new fuselage, does it include the gear door covers?

My first replacement did not, I used the main gear covers from the first one and had to make one for the nose gear cover as my first crash took it out.

You have to buy them separate but they are only $6 for all 3.

All aboard Flight 666

I’ve been able to log around 40 flights with this bad girl and it just gets better

It’s a rocket, easily my fastest jet. It’s handling is second to none (in my experience) and it lands with absolute grace every time. It WILL land slow, if you make it.

I’m still actually surprised how stable it is. I was expecting a handful based off its stubby wings.

Once again, nice job FW and MRC

ok I have just about got the damaged model ready for flight I have taken on board sugestions re lifting the nose wheel to help with grass take off and as the front of mine had some damage I decided to put a 10mm(3/8") blocks under the retract , the wheel protrudes below the cover but if it helps I can live with that

I keep hearing the remarks about how fast the F35 is. It seems about the same as my 80mm powered mirage. Around 120 mph.
