Don't get me wrong. They are the best to date
Out there. But their small size is simply not appropriate for larger airfields ;-) . Just get
The bigger Jets.

Love the F35 in the photos for good visibility
In the sky. :-)

Nice !

I see some suitable modifications on mine (ordered arf-plus kit), re-paint in Navy scheme and tailerons only (close all gaps on the ailerons)

The spar seems to sit above the duct ... and nothing else is in the way

Why don't we all ask for the
Grey version Arf plus F35.
They could do that like they offered the
Grey version F18C. No decals applied on the
Fuselage.

Please do, god MotionRC.
Offer grey Arf plus F35. No decals applied. Please :-)

Pretty sure someone along the way will experiment on flaperon setup for this bird

The power plant's specs looks very impressive. 6s 70 Amp at 5.5 lb thrust: https://www.rc-castle.com/index.php?...roduct_id=7558

Assuming their specs is true. ;-)

Outside Diameter : 73.0mm
- Ducted Fan Length : 59.0mm
- Rotor DIameter : 69mm , 12 Blades
- Weight: 240g
- Working Voltage: 6S 22.2v
- Motor : 2957 2210Kv Inrunner Brushless Motor (Installed)
- Static Thrust: Around 2450g At 22.2v (70A)

Installed, will get at best 80% .
So it could be 1960gr thrust on a
2600gr F35.
About.... 0.75 thrust to weight ratio at best. :-)

I really like the looks of this one although I am somewhat concern with the huge cheater on the bottom. I’m sure it’s good for performance but it’s a very large opening that’s close to the ground. Easy for Fod ingestion. Thoughts?

In Thrust we trust :-)
70x6x3.7 = 1554 watts

1554watts/ 5.7lb F35 = 272 watts/lb.

The decals said F35A, airforce version
Not F35B or F35C .
So no VTOL for the Airforce F35A. It
Is correct..

:-).

Got all excited when I seen this one up this morning, almost got to trigger happy and ordered it before I read the specs, just about to hit the buy button when I seen 70mm, man talk about letting the air out of your tire, thought is was a 80 or 90mm..

Oh well, it looks nice and the 70mm guys deserve something like this, thought about it but just not into 70mm, unless it's a twin...............

Want 90mm jet?
There are great 90mm F22, F18C, F4 ... :-)
And there are great 70mm F35, F16... :-)
Also 80mm Mig 21, F5, mirage 2000 , Yak 130 ... :-)
Even 64mm F18, F22 ...
Everyone gets something for fun.
That is fair .

By this logic if Iím flying on a giant dry lake bed I should only use a full size plane because the field is so big??
