Maiden flight
Hey guys, I picked this up despite reading all the not so good reviews on this and couldn’t wait to try it out for myself. My conditions couldn’t be any worse lol, high cross winds, snow on the ground and freezing cold.
I kept the flight short as I mainly wanted to see how it handles. My overall review on this is I like the Jet!! I gotta say it flies well in high winds I can’t wait to try it out again In better conditions. Anyone that’s reluctant to get this should reconsider and keep in mind it’s a Jet, not a 3D foamy Here’s the Video

Hi Guys,
Just ordered 2 of these Havocs, difficult to read through all the pages. Have all issues regarding un commanded roll been sorted out after Horizons bulletin? Gone ahead and ordered the Wemotec upgrade fan from extreme RC. Anything else to watch out for regarding equipment failure before I can maiden her? Thanks Chatty. |

I would watch the aileron servos, hard to believe that's been rectified on stock already produced and in distributors/shops possession.

c_makhija,
I have not had an uncommanded roll with and without the wing connections. If I were to give one recommendation it would be to make sure you do land on the mains and be careful with the landings. The plane has a very narrow landing envelope in my opinion. Other than that tricky landing I am very happy with my Havoc. |

Any idea why only the aileron servos failing? Are the same servos being used through out the model? Is the stock ESC holding up fine? Regards Chatty. |

Stock ESC doesn't seem to be an issue. |

Unless the flaps are causing the uncommanded roll. |

never saw any picks of melted servos but Im sure it's possible. The ele servos are usually larger and carry a bit more load, Flap or ele I would think the first to burn. Mine havok still in the box ( But collecting servos to replace the stock with the avanti hybrids. Cheep and so far reliable.
