Inexpensive Glow ignitor for field and/or on-board

Hi

I know glow engines are less popular and electric and Gas are getting popular recently, but many of our club members love glow engines.
One of my friends has a twin glow engine that needs glow ignitor to heat its plugs during flight, and had been looking for a products.
So I have made one for him. (I know HK has a receiver controlled glow ignitor tho)

I have been using a DIY DC-DC (Buck) inverter circuit using MC34063, but now I found an inexpensive DC-DC module using XL4005 that is less than a buck!
So I add a small PIC microcontroller to control two DC-DC module by Rx signal.
Now this plane (Moony) with a twin engine is back in the air !!!

If any of you are interested in this project, I will show my schematic and program just for hobby use, not commercial use tho.

All contents have been moved to my blog page. If you are interested in my code and schematics, plz PM me.

Jay
