Albert Kim has done a review. Firmware is not finalized yet but it's quite impressive. FPV quality is better than Turtle V2. UHD recording has a slight blueish cast.

Disappointed to see the weird aspect ratio stuff. It's exactly the opposite of what I want.
I want 4:3 for SD feed, and 16:9 for HD (particularly on 2.7K), but has 16:9 for SD feed,
and 4:3 for 2.7K. Yes many/most HD sensors are 4:3 ratio, but usually the HD resolutions
crop to 16:9 and that's fine. There's no excuse for a 16:9 SD sensor though. Limiting the
vertical FoV limits how far you can tilt a quadcopter forward and still see the horizon
(or forces you to use a very high camera angle, which then means you can't see
horizon while landing).

Dasmn AK's videos on the Tarsier dont look too good . The image is great of course but the actual video stream made me feel sick when watching it.

I tried searching for "Dasmn AK" on youtube and google and didn't find anything. Could you please link the video?

I think he's referring to Albert Kim on YouTube.
He has uploaded 3 videos on the Caddx Tarsier so far.
I linked the first video a few post back on this page.

Another Tarsier video by AK from a night flight.

BG confirmed to me they have the Tarsier in stock now and will be shipping in the next 24-48 hours.

Hmmm - why am I still sceptical? Maybe because BG usually talk sh!te ?

Fingers crossed anyway.

I asked Caddx about ND16 filters, and they said there are none, and they will only be producing ND8 filters. So I bought 2.

Just made the maiden flight with my custom cinewhoop.
I need some more test flight to test all the resolution, bitrates and others parameters available.
The first impression is positive: even if compared to my Gopro Session 5 I see less brilliant colors with default parameters, I like the video quality for this only 20grams cam!

I have only a doubt regarding the mount of the board: the poor manual says "The heat sink is used to fix the flat cable andd issipate heat". Right now my flat cable is free and I have not found clear examples of assembly.
Any suggestions?

Another test I made is the comparison with the Turtle V2: ignoring the recording quality the latency I see on my goggles with the Turtle isn't present in the Tarsier. So I appreciate a lot the double sensor: good job!
