Still no mess, but used all the heavy stuff out of the pantry to hold the sides together until the epoxy cures. I tried a forsner but on balsa and it shredded. I did end up going with some holes in the forward bulkhead just for fun. I can always fill them in with lead later. Lol

Ready to start on the wing but canít find a big hole punch local. I did add rear spars. And as Iím adding ailerons I made some extra ribs. Best part is my lovely wife is home and putting up with my coffee table build. 🤪

One side built but not sanded. The other side should go faster as I have all the ribs precut for the ailerons. Itís still pretty light. Keeping my fingers crossed.

A little late, and I won't go into the forstners or punches, but these work great for holing soft balsa. cheap too.

I use a cork borer for holes smaller than 1/2 inch. You can also use them as a gouge for making oblong holes in fuselage sides where the pushrod passes through.
