Consider the possibility of a smaller boat running into the side of your boat at speed, would it knock a hole in your hull? Or maybe you don't see a rock and run into it along the waterline of your boat, would there be a 'gash' in the hull letting water inside? So, do YOU think you should fiberglass the hull sides?
