Banggood Lipo batteries

I ordered three batteries from Banggood. All three came charged. Two will not take a charge and one worked fine on recharge. Banggood is giving me grief on my order. GRRRRR

Could not figure out why the motor stopped in mid-flight. Swapped batteries and had the same issue. So came home and tried to figure out why. Went out again with battery number three. Worked fine. Just operator error in flying my plane

Came back to recharge them and found the problem two would not take a charge for two different reasons. The third that worked recharged fine.

Banggood is running me through the ringer to get replacements or a refund.

You said that one lipo works, you can charge it with this charger!
If yes, than one lipo should have a connection fault in main lead.
The other battery cell connect you should have a problem with balance connector, if you have a cell checker it should also faulted there too!

grts

ps some picture would be great also with your's claim at Banggoods

Yup, sounds worth doing some troubleshooting with a multimeter, check the actual voltage at the leads and the cell voltages via the balance connector.

It has been five days since I contacted Bang Good on my bad batteries. Still no response. I just sent my third follow up e-mail asking for new batteries or a refund.

no kidding. to be any help we need more information. (or is this thread just here to vent/rant?)
what voltage per cell where they charged to when you received them? what the lowest voltage per cell you've ever seen on them? what the maximum voltage difference between cells for each pack?

OkayThey are a three cell 11.1v 20c battery

I have no idea how they charged per cell they failed the first time I tried to charge them. The one good one that charged was three volts per cell for 12 total. The other two I can get zero reading on a tester or multi meter

Two failed right out of the box. The other worked I have not checked it to see how the voltalge dropped since I charged it

20c is very low for quads.
....
3.0 volts per cell is below safe lipo margins and caused damage to battery. also 3.0v on a 3-cell would be 9v, not 12.

There's something else going on there. What are the total voltages? The battery you can charge would probably have exploded and burned your house down that badly overcharged.

The battery I can charge is 12.4 total

The second total voltage is 4.7

And the third seems to be taking a charge this time. That one was 8.05 total voltage. I am charging at 1.3A and so far it has gone from 7.6 to 8.41 in about 15 min

The numbers on the batteries are 11.1v 20C and 1300mAh
