S-3 Viking

Does anyone know where to get plans for a S-3 viking. Would make a nice ducted fan model due to the extremely short ducting.

I used the excellent Koku-Fan drawings to design my kit for the Viking available thru www.eam.com the drawings are available thru Bob Banka sorry don't have an address but maybe someone will post it here. BTW my Viking kit may be available in Europe soon.

thanks guys, flailing, that kit looks awesome but until the aussie dollar gets better, a kit is way out of reach over here.

Let me know if you decide to scratch build a Viking I may be of some help. I highly recommend the Koku-Fan drawings there excellent 2 pages in 18 x 24 format.

flailing, don't mean to be a bother, but isn't the eam website www.eam.net ? I went to eam.com and the website is not the one with the r/c models. Its a website about ....... I'll leave it up to your imagination.

Perhaps not so pretty, but it'll probably do anyway...

EAMRC Viking

Here is mine, an early kit, KP44 fans, 7 cells and no ailerons..........
nominal to say the least, if you buy this kit make sure you get the upgraded version..It's a shame that so many were sold before the upgrade...........

good luck with the Viking, loads of character.

Warbird have you tried 8 cells there are a few Vikings using 8 cells with all up weights around 14-15 ounces and have been reported to fly very well although I have not seen them fly.

Congrats Warbird,

Great painting and weathering work. Looks quite real.

Which is the wingspan? Seems to be small.
