Nice drawing , great distance between wings , I'd suggest a "little" positive incidence in the top wing , if , as your drawing shows , it is forward of the bottom wing ....

Got to fly my X-2 in a bigger gym this weekend. It is by far the funnest plane in my fleet. Flys nice and slow, yet turns on a dime. If I really want to slow down, it will harrier all day long, with no wing rock. Landing from harrier worked best, two foot rollout after the tail touches.
The X tail got some giggles from the oldtimers, until they saw it fly!

Colbyweb

Have you had a chance to work on the plans? I really want to build another one with a slightly bigger wing.

I've been slack!!
I got a little more done on it but it still has a ways to go. Mostly drawing the X tail which I haven't yet decided how to illustrate. I'll see if I can get at least the fuselage and wing struts ready for you sinc ethat is the part the cad is really going to help you the most on. Other projects got in the way of this, but I really want to build it also so I will get it done, I promise

Thanks Rick

Yes the wing struts and fuse is the most important to me. The tail build is easy.

Thanks again

The toughest part for me and the reason I put it on the back burner, is that this drawing requires a lot of bezier curves and I have not yet figured out how to do bezier curves in autocad. I can make them but I do not understand how to do it right, and so it is very frustrating when I have to do very many of them. Your design requires several.

Yes thats it. The upper V is normal v-tail. The lowers are just cross connected to the uppers with 3mm flat CF. Theres a good pic of the tail in my first post.

Thanks! That's what I thought, but someone asked me to illustrate it and I wanted to make certain I had it right. So if anyojne doesn't understand it, there it is

If they need more, I could take pictures of the surfaces in positions.
