Corky Miller is offering a special for the BAM.

His new 1.5M Yellow Jacket can be delivered to you at the BAM, for $120.
He will deliver either an F3RES or an Electric Yellow Jacket Lite to the BAM for $185.

These are great airplanes, as I know from personal experience with the 2M F3RES Yellow Jacket. In fact, I will most likely be taking my own Yellow Jackets (I have one of each) to the German F3RES Nationals in September.

Thank you, Corky.

John Hsu (who has not yet registered - hint, hint!) has been a long-time supporter of the BAM. Also, his wife Erin has supported John, whether he deserved it or not. But, like my own wife, who supports my flying, Erin does not particularly enjoy sitting aorund watching John stare up at the sky.

So, Erin will be renting a van and doing some local sight-seeing while here at the BAM. My wife, Vicki, will be joining her, and they intend to take in as much of the local sights as they can manage. We have a great Old Town, complete with tourist shopping and Native Americans selling jewlery on the side walk; a world-class zoo; and a fantastic Arboretum. Just up the road, there is the town of Madrid, where the movie "Wild Hogs" was filmed, with lots of local shopping. Santa Fe, with all its cultural baggage, is also a good day trip.

Any and all spouses of flyers are welcome to come along and share the van. It beats sitting around.

Yours, Greg

Thank you Greg, if anyone is interested just email me at [email protected]. Please try to give me 4 weeks lead time to be safe not knowing how busy it will be around that time. I can also do 3m and 3.5m's 5% off and no shipping. Discounts are for cash at time of delivery. The cc/PayPal folks don't get a cut.

We are very happy to have you join us. I think you will find Albuquerque quite quaint, after the bright lights of the big city.

Bob Edson, old timer, going to try F5j for a while. Planning on coming to the Buzz Averill memorial. Driving a motor home does anyone know of a decent place to stay for a few days since it appears I can't stay overnight at the flying site? I don't have an extra vehicle so will be driving to the field in the MH every day.
Thanks for any info available.

You might try the KOA campground located up in Bernalillo, which is about 10 mi. north of the Balloon Park. I personally don't know anything about it, but here's the website. https://koa.com/campgrounds/albuquerque-north/
I've asked our ASA members if they have any other suggestions.
Hope to see you here!!!
Regards, Richard
