Laser cut battery boxes and other stuff..

Hello... I used to sell these, but at the time I had another person cut them for me. Unfortunately, he quit the business, so I quit selling them. I now have my own laser and have started making them myself. I have them in versions for 3S to double 6S, and can, if needed design any size needed, in single or doubles. I can also cut receiver mounts or what ever will fit on to my laser bed. The battery boxes are to be screwed (or glued in the case of a foam plane) down, with one battery strap around the small end of the battery box (and preferably around part of the frame. The design makes it great for planes that need the battery too far forward to get two straps onto the pack (I have always used two straps if no using a battery box.)

Please see the attached photos and contact me via PM for more info. Three of the photos in the last row are of a receiver mount I made for the Extreme Flight 83" MXS to mount it over the wing tube.

Please PM for info.. One thing I must mention is that I do this as part of my hobby and also to help support my hobby, and it is not a 24/7 job and it's just me (no secretary, so if I don't get back to you within an hour or so, don't worry, I will get back soon.

Thanks for looking..

I bought one of Steve’s planes that had one of the double battery boxes in it. Made getting the batteries in and out a snap. Great quality.

I am building a 1/3 scale Gee Bee racer that will be powered by either 8S2P or 10S2P. What will a battery box like this cost? I would be interested in buying both options to plan installation in the airframe.

Yes, you have to drill some small holes for servo type screws to screw the box in unless you wish to glue it in.

For more info, please PM me.

I just received 5 very nice custom battery sleds from Steve...
The quality is just great, after a brief consultation on the dimensions the end
product is perfect...exactly what I need.
Steve is easy-peasy to talk to and deal with...great guy.
Turn around time is well within reason...a few days.
I highly recommend Steve and his battery sleds, or anything else he makes...
Cheers!
Richard

ps...that's my Princess screaming in my ear ('cause I'm deaf as a post) in the picture!

I used "Formula "560" Canopy Glue" by Pacer
It holds very nicely but with a little effort it can be removed and cleaned up...if necessary.
I used the "dab here dab there method"...don't flood it in or it'll never come out.
Cheers!
Richard
