This P-39 in 1700mm I would buy in a heartbeat. Or 1600mm. I may even crumble at the buy button at 1200mm...

Nice bird My concern though would be regarding the front landing gear : I had recently a bad experience with the PA-28 Cherokee flying from grass and this one looks even more fragile. I would buy it if I had an asphalt runway but this isn't the case so I have to pass on this one Too bad !

I am hoping Fliteline will do one in 1600mm. Then I can use a common 6s 5000. But until then I'll take this one.

My poor bank Account

Notice the same pilot as in my Spitfire. No big deal. I will wait to see initial reviews but then order. Love the the split flaps and the tricycle gear plus the 1.2 wing size. Only thing I miss is the original safe set up as I hate pranging my birds. Good going H H. Too bad I can't say tell the taxpayers to order me another one when I have an ops.

This one does have SAFE if you choose to use it in the BNF version.

Unless the Focke Wulf chased the P-39 below 10,000 feet, which seemed to happen a lot.

Some of Russia's highest-scoring aces got the majority of their kills in P-39s.

Against anything they could sucker into following them below 10,000 feet.

Yup! And just a single round from that 30mm monster-cannon in the nose would essentially vaporize any Luftwaffe fighter unlucky enough to get caught in the sights. Had enough hitting power to go right through an entire engine-block & then shred the airframe!
