Motor for Shinto J

Hi -
I am looking for a motor gear box recommendation for a sailplane build.
16 x 10 prop.
600W continuous, 1000W peak
3S 1800MAH battery
30mm diameter max
max wgt 200g or so for motor & gear box.

A 1107/2D/P29 will get you a little over 600 watts.

Hi Steve,
What is your equivalent of a Leomotion 3025-3650?

That is 3650KV w/ 6.7: 1 gear drive.

I would use 3S and a 17 x 13 prop.

I'd rather get from you than purchase from Switzerland.

Nope---that is a 1110 motor with a P29 gear drive. The 17x13 is a lot more load(torque) at a lower RPM so a 1110 would be more suitable.

The motor to get is a 1110/1.5Y/P29.
