Blowing esc on my cat


I am run 24 cat .in I have 200-amp mysterious ESC. And the 2000kv dynamite motor I got a 40mm prop with 2.2 pitch on 6s the little boat do bout 60 on top end .but i blowing the esc .am i runing to much prop for that set up .

Probaly.
Might be better asking in the racing electric section rather than the software section, more likely to be seen by somebody who knows.

Just because the ESC says 200 amps does not mean it can run that much draw for very long. What really damages an ESC rating is temperature, not amps. That motor is really better in a 4S setup. Heat buildup can be great, particularly if the OP runs a lot at part throttle. Part throttle and a hot setup is a recipe for a blown ESC.

Other causes include an inadequate battery (a low C rating or small capacity), worn or inadequate connectors, too small or too long wires, and running for too long. Or, a bad ESC, that is not a top quality controller. I would suggest that the OP go back to 4S.
