Mega 16/25/4 F5J 4s battery

I am using this motor in a beat up old Pike Perfection I bought after it had been rebuilt. I bought it as a glider but cut the nose off and put a Mega 16/25/4 F5J motor in and initially used a 3 s battery pack . As it weighs 2200g it was fairly leisurely in the climb (as you might expect). I decided to see if a 4s battery would fit and found a Tatu pack that would fit in nicely and not alter the cg too much. The prop is a Vitaprop 10" x 6" . I have not got a height limiter in it because it (Jeti Mvario2) is being used to get the temperature of the case into the telemetry system then the Transmitter talks to me every 5 s to tell me what the case temperature is. The 10"x 6" fairly wizzes and the model pulled hard and gave a reasonable height on a 30s motor run. I think it was over 200m. The temperature started at 29.5 ° C (warmish autumn day) and rose to 73° C about 15 s after shut down. I would think that being an in-runner the inner temperature would be considerably higher. After about 8 mins flight the temperature was down to ambient again.
Can anyone tell me if this is safe? Because I am thinking about moving the set up to a new fuselage I bought and I would like to use this set up and save myself a bit of dough.
Cheer, Paul

I use the Mega 16/35 3CE F5J motor in my Aspire's for F5J and ALES- but I run on 3S 1300 70C and 13x8. 3 years of hard contest flying and never had an issue. I've also never set my Jeti to monitor temps, so I don't know what my exact numbers are, but at the end of a 10 minute flight, motor and battery are at ambient temps. You should be fine, in my opinion.

Just did some tests this weekend with my ultima 1 heavy (1.5kg) running mega 16/25/4 on 4S and spinning 10x8 aeronaut. It gives me over 33m/s ground speed in level flight and about 20m/s ground speed at 7m/s climb. Good enough for any wind.

I'm using mega motors exclusively for more than a decade now and never had any issues. And we did abuse them in the past - think 16/25/2 on 6S pulling over 100A. Very reliable motors.
