Two Sheeting Thicknesses in Compufoil

Hi all,

I'm designing a built-up fully-sheeted wing where I'd like to specify thinner sheeting aft of the main spar.

Is it possible to use two sheeting thicknesses in CompuFoil? - either a direct way or some sort of workaround technique?

Is there any other software on the market approaching the versatility of CompuFoil, that can handle multi sheeting thicknesses?

Yup, piece of cake - .jpg attached. Assign sheeting thickness (in this case 1/16", pull up D-tube menu, snap to spar #1, assign "Rib cap thickness aft of D-tube" (in the example I put 1/32").....voila!

Save it out as .dxf, email it to your friendly local laser-cutter and BOOM you got yourself some beautiful ribs

YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH COMPUFOIL!!

As straightforward as it gets; just seeing it from a different perspective (cap vs. sheet). Xlnt, thanks Milton

Spoken by a true CompuFoil veteran! Thanks for fielding the question Milton, and the accolades, even though I am six years late!
