IMAX B6 review

The IMAX B6 is a steaming pile of dog turd in the truest sense. Parts that didn't fit were smashed together. The case was live. Buttons didn't fit through the holes. Once modified, it worked fine. It does everything the Accucel 8150 does, except higher power. For the 3S, it only charged at 4A & discharged at 0.4A.

Not sure you realize there are counterfeit chargers out there..... but that couldn't possibly be the case here.

I own three B6 chargers.

Images View all Images in thread Views: 267 Views: 276 Probably good enough & would have lasted forever, but the lion kingdom wanted to ensure it didn't overheat or accidentally short to the case. The MOSFET is actually the battery + terminal. Views: 258 A better quality thermal pad from a past teardown & some bending got it to sit flat. There's no easy way to bolt it without shorting it. Views: 249 Expanded button holes so they fit. Views: 237 Broken out balancing tab. Views: 243 Expanded openings to make it fit. Views: 257 The bottom was flattened for the MOSFET.
