What do you mean by “wings without slots”? Mine was “extremely heavily modified” and flew with a JePe Storm Fan on 11s. An unsuccessful bungee launch led to a serious crash and I’m working on the rebuild with JePe’s retract set. CG 110mm as per JePe’s recommendation (see last pic of the blog).

I saw some versions originally with slats, but my JEPE version hasn't. Just wonder with version had slots, older I think.

I set CoG at 110mm as JEPE recomended and I confirm this is very good point.

I hope You rebuild your plane, JEPE's F-16 looks gorgeous in the sky.

Ah, slats. Yes, the JePe kit doesn’t come with slats. This is how mine looks currently, getting there....

I have made some "speed" comparison to show why I prefer slower planes. They flies more in scale.
This clip has no sound. Only at the end is a small part with it.

JEPE F-16 MOD vs Real F-16, speed comparison (3 min 9 sec)

Without sound the real F-16 flies so slowly, don't you think?

I truly enjoy the flight envelope... which
Means not only speed, but everything from
Slow flyby, to fast flyby to High AOA...
To vertical Performance to all kind of maneuvering from loop to roll to Cuban 8...
Enjoy the sound too :-)
You name it. :-)

In short I enjoy the flight envelope ;-)
Typically, like how you and 4stripes fly those jets :-)
Wonderful :-)

I think the sound makes we think the jet flies
Faster :-)
The world we live now is full of illusions.
Just like we live in a movie with special
Effects that makes we feel truly unreal.

If you wonder how many amps need this light aircraft to fly, here you are. I've got Eagle Tree Logger and made a logged flight.

Nice light Jet. :-).
4s, 70amps max, 1040 watts max.
Most of the time 30- 40% power :-)

What is its AUW ???

The old school states 300watts/lb will
Make the jet fly nice. But flyers almost
Always push the limit :-)

Oh, I saw it
AUW 1650 gr.
Thrust 1100gr.

The T/W ratio is 1100/1650 = 0.66
:-)
