“Faithful Annie” is designed to 1.5”:1ft and is a faithful reproduction of the full size. The plan gives full details of the retracts and flap mechanisms.

These are in the online shop at

The Duncan Hutson plan is for a Mk 1 or 2. The Mk V was a special Canadian Anson with a rolled plywood fuselage similar to a mossie fuselage in construction. Scale R/C Modeler did an article on an electric Mk V done by someone in eastern Canada. If you could track down the article and get the fellows name. MAAC could probably give you his address and phone number.

Here's what I know so far:
Clark E. Sheppard has developed and published in Scale RC Modeler in April 1998 for the Anson Mk.V model.

Anyone have a copy of this article?

Hi Pierre
Just as a matter of interest, I have the Serial number plates from an Anson-2 that I played in as a kid on my uncles farm. He bought it for scrap after the war, then it was stuck out in the"back 40" to rot away. When I was a member of Canadian Warplane Heritage, they took an interest in the remains, so we went to look for it. All that was left was the forward section of the fuse, where I found the plates and removed them.
Here is the info on the one plate:
Canadian Car and Foundry Co. Ltd.
Avro Type Anson-2
Drawing No. F3290331C
Serial Number CF1154
Date 30-9-41
I don't have any photo's of it, but with that information there should be something out there.
I would really like to build one too, as soon as I finish my Blenheim.
