JR 347 TX, 4-Servo DLG, and Channel 1 Question

Dear All,

(Marc here, in my new role as a resident of the UK.)

Am I reading the manual wrong for my new (to me) JR 347? Is channel 1 dedicated to spoilers and essentially a write-off if I set up flaperons? Does this indeed mean I can't use Berg/Schultze 4-channel receivers? (No big deal, I'll just get JR or other 5-channel, but I'd heard so much good about the inexpensive Bergs.)

JR X347 and flapperons

Hi Mark,

Afraid you'll have to forget ch1 as it (is) a dedicated channel for spoilers (if you have one).

NOTE: You'll need to use Ch2 for RIGHT flapperon and Ch5 for LEFT one. There is an *ERROR in the manual! Actually, i've found lots of errors/problems with the X347 manual. My mate got an X3810... and that's got lots of errors too!

*If you do what the manual says, it will (seem) to all work ok, but (if) you use differential, you'll find it works the wrong way round!!

I've had an X347 for about 5 yrs now, and i love it. Once you understand all it's excentrities it's ok.

Regards, Andy
