Unlike my first design, this time I wanted gates that were totally 3D Printed (because, you know, 3D Printer!). The only items needed that aren't 3D Printed are 1/4"x1/4"x1/4" Neodymium Magnets which cost about 20 cents each on ebay (and I'm sure multiple other venues). The magnet is a press fit, but obviously can be glued in as well. The reason for the magnet is that most open doorways (at least around here) have a metal corner around the perimeter (even though you can't see it). Also, the magnets stick to drop ceilings. Who knows what else you might find to stick them to like appliances, etc.

The gate itself is 300mmx300mmx7mm, which easily fits on my CR-10s 3D printer. If you're going to resize anything, keep in mind the 7mm thickness on the gate as it relates to the hangers and stand.

I included a few different lengths of stands and hangers, but everything is press fit (not everything is in the pictures). Easy to take apart, easy to store!

I'd recommend PLA Plus or better (like PETG) *I did mine with PLA Plus*, just because PLA can tend to be a little more brittle. I'm presuming that, like me, you won't always make it through the gate!

I uploaded a door hanger for the gate here:

The gate is a press fit into the hanger and you're good to go. I made it for a door thickness of 1-5/16" (approx 34.5mm) to 1-3/4" (approx 45mm) as they were the narrowest and the thickest doors I have here.

This is a door trim hanger for my Quad Racing Gate ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3423366 ). The gate is a press fit into the hanger and you're good to go. I made it for a door trim thickness of 2-3/16" (approx 56.4mm) to 2-5/8" (approx 67mm) as they were the narrowest and the thickest door trims I have here. It needs a 3mm bolt that you self tap (by screwing it through the hole). In use, you only want to hand tighten the bolt to simply make the hanger snug on the door trim. I suggest two hangers for a gate.

Here's an Open Door Hanger for the gate. It could be mounted to a side of a set of shelves or other things as well...

I keep making add-ons, heck there is another one printing as I post this one.

This is a Gate Joiner for my Quad Racing Gate ( https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3423366 ). Join 2 or more gates and play "Climb The Ladder" or simply use the different gate heights to vary your flying course. I've included 2 different lengths, and of course you're going to want to use 2 of either length to join your gates.

Name: Gate Flags.jpg

Description:

Thought of this because of the flags that I made for my Disc Golf course. I made each "flag" with 3 pieces. The holder, the background, and the number (or arrow). That way the number can be orientated to whatever works best for that particular gate and/or the arrow can be orientated to whatever it takes to point to the next gate. Plus it gives a greater choice for colors. (Obviously having all the flags on the gate in the pic is just for reference...)

I found an area that was metal, but didn't have enough surface area for two mounts. So I designed a piece that uses four magnets and only requires one hanger to hold the gate.

It can be found here:

Added a smaller gate. Just trying to keep the indoor flying interesting.

First picture is how it looks verses a 65mm quad.
Second picture is how it looks verses my larger quad racing gate.
