right wing panel is underway

Clamps shims and magnets then hope for a straight wing. The table is inch and a half furniture grade birch with metal plate glued to the top. The bow in the middle is about the depth of three sheets of paper.

working at how to raise the spoilers with a small servo located at the spoiler. Some good weather has slowed down building.

From what i remember of Bob's bird, prolly about 40-50mm, but maybe a (Radian's) replacement would be OK

wing fairing

With good flying weather and Joe Nall building took a back seat. Today it is 93 in the shade at 6:15PM. The small window unit in my shop has not shut down all afternoon. Do I have to include the price of electricity in the cost of building this thing.

The rear tube support 1/4 inch spar was not cut in the ribs. If you are building this plane from a laser cut kit check ribs 1,2,3 and 4 for the upper and lower notches for the supporting spar for the rear tube.

Esc

Most likely I will get the local hobby shop to pick out an appropriate esc. We have a knowledgeable individual running the shop in Cary.

polyhedral

What is the best way to brace the polyhedral joint. using welding wire as shown does not look good. Do sailplanes use this often?

note to Cbarnes

[quote=cbarnes0061;41836205]just received one of these short kits myself.

the notches for the rear spar were left off by the laser cutter.
Much easer to fix if you recognize this and cut the notches before gluing the bottom sheeting on
