simulation software to practice 3D hovering

I am using FMS but it doesn't have the model to practice plane 3D hovering.
Can someone give me an idea where I can download the simulation software to practice 3d hovering with plane.

You can download lots of models for fms.. search google and you'll find lots of them...However, fms is really not of any use at all when learning how to hover.. really. It's just completely and utterly useless when it comes to high alpha maneuvers and also when using the rudder. You should get realflight g3 or a cheap foamy (probably the best solution) to practice with.

I bought AFPD and its awesome for 3d flying! Hovering it in is very realistic, and when you use your own EPA and EXPO. settings its even better. Im having sound issues with it right now, and if u hover to low your plane kinda goes into the ground, but thats the only glitches with the program; its quite good!

There are now quite a few planes that will hover reasonably well in FMS, at least well enough to get some orientation practice in knife edge and torque rolls. I am at work so don't have access to the names. Some were titled Fun---. There is a whole forum here on sims, so try a search. I have RF2(not much good for hovering) and AFPpro which is great (I'm waiting for my upgrade to Delux!)

Should try Pre-Flight. I think the hovering and FF is pretty realistic. It works well with my old Airtronics Vanguard plane Tx, however, am having difficulty with my JR6102.

I have the AFP Deluxe for about 2 weeks now and its great!
For guys that do have the AFP deluxe check out the aircraft carrier.
You can fly into the lower deck. Hover around or land and take off.
Its just fun to fly in one side and out the other.

Its alot of fun and a very good sim!

Reflex xtr is brilliant for 3d and hovering. The built in torque roll / hovering trainer is kinda nice as well for working on orientations.

It does take a pretty good computer.

Try this site for FMS

You have to log in and join but tons of models...They have a Shock Flyer and Tiburon Bipe that hover decent....Alot of the fun type planes will hover also.

The link is for 2.7 also have models for 2.8 but not as many ,just put up a shocky though

Flying High:

Thank for the information. I did download the "ShockFlyer Edge 540 "America" and unzip it.

When I run in FMS I don't have the picture of the plane. sound and landscape view appear to be OK.

I wonder maybe some files are missing.
