H-King Crusader 30E 1200mm Stick (47.3") (ARF)

Crusader 30E 1200mm Stick

The Crusader is built of lightweight ply and balsa and covered with a high contrast color scheme.
The Crusader has excellent flight characteristics. If you want to experience all flying capabilities it will deliver a full range of sport acrobatic maneuvers with ease.

There will be some assembling required as with most ARF models. You will also need to install your power system and radio equipment. It is recommended that you run a 2216-980KV motor with a 30A ESC (with BEC) and a 10x5 propeller running on a 2200mAh 3S Lipo battery with your choice of radio and receiver. 9g servos provide ample control and will complete the fit out.

I love the looks of it. I've always been a bit intrigued by .... Sticks. I like the blue and black. Maybe a first balsa plane for moi?.........

Those wheels sure look small though. I guess I could add bigger ones....(a "STOL Stick"?....)

What would be a good 4S set-up? I have way more 4S lipos than 3S...(I do have a few 3S 1800s and 2200s though..)

Would be great if I could use stuff I already have - Power 15, bunch of PZ warbird motors, plenty of 40a ESCs, etc...

With 47 inch wingspan I think one can run a motor larger than a 2216 motor. I have a crashed E flite Pitts 850. Im thinking about that motor.

No doubt.

I'd do a 1000-1100kv Power10 size motor (35-42), 10x7 prop on 4s.

Would also have to recover it to get rid of that hideous scheme

I had the old Durafly Retro Series Das UglyStik --great flying plane with the stock 3536 motor on 4s.

I like it a lot. I wish it has a trike gear option though. And the foux nitro engine on the foam version was genious. This is a great-looking Stik though.

The same color scheme top & bottom of the wings. Not really helpful for orientation I would say.

Sure, 2830-3030 is fine. There is this strange cross over from multi-rotors where the stator size is used as a reference. 2216 (stator size) is still fine

Now we're talking. I reckon you could rip the front out of it with that

You're banned Sammy. I choose that colour and I think a little part of me died when I read that.
