Do you Recommend Lipo's to a Beginner in general.
Guys I'm not trying to start a Flame War here. I get appoached by many that want to learn R/C. I just want to provide them with the Correct Info.

A friend of mine is getting into electrics for smaller stuff. I'm getting him on lipos from the gitgo but as I voted, I'm cluing him in on how to handle them (including safety precautions in conveying (heat in the car/trunk too), charging, if damaged etc).
Hey, glow fuel and gasoline aren't exactly benign technologies either...... Jim |
