Ugh! We need the wind forecast to improve.

And more pilots ...

Will update on Friday afternoon.

Sorry guys, I can't make race #1, I have a Memorial service to attend that day.

With only very light WNW wind forecast for tomorrow, I regretfully am cancelling tomorrow’s event.

If the wind turns on I will most likely still be fun flying and working on the LZ. Lots of cow pies to clear and the weeds are growing fast!

Sorry guys. Next race is 4/20!

Bummer! The usual suspects will convene for fun flying around 11.

Good call on the cancellation, Scott. It was too light to race today. I flew my Sunbird a little bit, but mostly it was light foamies going up when the thermals came through and dropping when it got cold.

Thanks

I hate canceling a race, but I thought we might get skunked. Always a tough call.

Mid week update:

Wind looks to be plenty strong for racing on Saturday (4/20). Race venue is the SLoT, near Benicia. Tentatively set for a 10am start. Will update again on Friday afternoon.

Please post here if you intend to come and join the fun. Everyone is welcome, AMA is required to fly. We need around 9-10 pilots to make the event work. Sandy has volunteered to CD the race!

If anyone wants more information on Man on Man slope racing, or has questions about NCSS or the SLoT please shoot me a message. These are super fun events, and great practice for the ISR and Grass Mountain MoM races that are coming up soon.

Hope to see you there.

Final Race Call:

Plenty of wind forecast for tomorrow!

Pilots meeting at 10am with racing to follow!
Go early if you want trim flights.

Race day lock will be on at 9 am. Red tape, 5555.

Still looking for more pilots for the MoM race. Hopefully we get enough people to get in a race. Should be a great day at the SLoT!

I plan to be there in the morning. Hope to get in a few races.

Tomorrow's forecast for Fairfield looks really good. Add some "mph" for the SLoT.
