Could someone point me in the right direction?

I bought one of the helicopters and looked foreward to flying it but it will only stay up in the air 15 seconds on a full charge. Whats going on with this?????The blades will spin for 5 or 6 mins but without enough power to lift off after the initial flight of 8-15 seconds. What should I do???? It is the black body with the exposed tail wiring but I dont know whats up with that either....are these lemons? am I screwed? (that would be a shame). Talk about spoiling a kids fun......LOL

Thanks
Rick

I just read about 40 posts and it seems the battery is 2 weak... bummer.
9.95 will get it running (plus shipping) but that just sucks....it just does.

Yeah, a Kokam 340 transplant will solve the problem. Flight times will go up to 8+ minutes continuous. Requires a little soldering though.

It's a shame there are so many of the first generation BRs out there, it seems posts like yours show up at the rate of several per day. QVC definitely is selling the later generation BRs, there has not been a single report of bad flight times on the QVC versions.
