I bought 3 x 6s 3300 420 Platinum blend 40C packs,

I received 3 packs with 420 Silver Blend 70C labels... however they weight 510 grams.

the 40c are supposed to weight 500g and 70c/580g.

no complaints here but a little distrusting with the labels on this battery... imagine I ordered a 70c and got a 40c instead?

also they came without bump tags...i thought all batteries came with a bump tag.

Please shoot me an e-mail, jamie@revolectrix.com with your full name or order number. I would like to research what happened, in this case, with our our pack manufacturer. We recently stopped adding bump tags to the REVO battery packs.

My previous two orders they have placed 70c labels too!

Mine did not come with bump tags. Revo if not already done needs to update their website to reflect.

Thats good to hear. I just received more batteries in. This time they are labeled 40c 420 blend 5000. I ordered 40c 5200s. I dont even see a listing for 40c 5000s.

hm... weird. i ll do a capacity check on my cells when i first use them

so i decided to get more revolectrix batteries.

i bought more platinum 3300mah 6s 40c blend packs but they came with a 70C silver label.
I only got 2897mah on discharge from full 4.2 to 3.3v 2% on my revolectrix PL6T.

is this normal?

Took a 2881 mah charge from 3.3v 2%.

So these batteries arent 3300mah

Were they new out of the box? If so, you need to use/cycle them a few times for them to reach full capacity.

Yea brand new

You need to cycle them a few times. Or, just use them 5-10 times. Then take a read. Lipos don't develop their full capacity right out of the box.

Still wondering why they label these packs 70c.
When they are actually 40c, what i ordered.

What im wondering is why they have not corrected the problem.

I'm currently waiting on Revolectrix to sort out a similar situation. I ordered a pair of Blend 435 40C 3200mAh 5S packs. What I received was labeled as Blend 435 40C 3300mAh 5S. Weight 350gram and not 410gram as on their website, dimensions are also off what is published.


Not a big deal perhaps, had it not been for the fact that they seem to be 2500mAh cells which is not cool ( I got suspiciuos when I noticed how thin and light the packs where). I have done a few cycles, and @5A discharge from 4.35V - 3.3V I get close to 2500mAh out. Yes, they may improve a bit with a few more cycles but not that much. Issue was reported almost a week ago, still waiting on a response from them on what they intend to do with this issue.

yep, of the 3300mah 6s cells I bought, on a discharge i only get just shy of 2900mah to a full discharge. those labels are bogus.
