2s battery mount for emax tinyhawk

Just saw this fairly innocuous looking piece of TPU listed on banggood:



Looking a little closer it allows you to stack 2 x 1s batteries in the battery tray of the emax tinyhawk akin to the mobula7. I'd so love for the intention for this to be a series-based battery solution (2s tinyhawk?) but am guessing this is meant for running in parallel. Anyone else have any insight here?
