New Extra 300 from E-flite

E-flite released a new Extra 300 3D foamie yesterday in a 1.3M size. It looks nice and is suitable for 3 or 4S lipo batteries. It comes with digital metal gear servos and like every new plane from E-flite now, it has AS3X and SAFE Select technology inside. David Payne says it has a ton of power and is a blast to fly. The new Extra 300 comes in BNF and PNP versions and should start shipping early next month. The BNF sells for $279.99 and PNP is $249.99.

This looks very interesting and might have potential. I would like to see some additional video with more 3D flying.

That looks fantastic. It's amazing just how far "foamie" airplanes have come along in the recent years.

If the metal gear servos are decent that would make the $250 PNP price seem worth it to me vs other similar size planes at around $200 with cheapie servos.

Glad I am not the only one who missed the Parkzone Extra. My speed controller died and caused crash. Wish this one had the orange color but at least not another blue one

So is this the FMS 300?? As I definitely prefer this one over there version

The FMS 300 has a 1300 Wingspan
FMS 300 has a different length and weight
Has the same physical appearance, in terms of landing gear, exhaust, and shape of control surfaces
The cowl has the exact same appearance viewed from the front
So its the probably the same plane. Which to my mind is not a good sign. The reviews say the FMS
is a good sport 3d combo ship but not for the hard core 3d stuff.
