Remove foam from spar

Do any of you have ideas on how to remove the glue residue and foam chunks from this spar so I can reuse it?

I want to avoid sanding, i don't want to create any nasty carbon dust.

Scrape it off with the blade from a broken propeller .

I use a Xacto knife with the blade at 90 degrees to the spar and scape the glue off. Blade doesn't need to be very sharp. Works every time.

A dull blade is best, use a sharp one and you'll find yourself cutting into the spar. Does take time, sit down with a trash can in front of you with a broom and dust pan next to it because only about half will make it into the can while you scrape. Enjoy...

Same as what I do. Have reused CF rods many times.
