HobbyMate's FrSky protocol RX with SBus, SPort, RSSI outputs

Documenting and testing the Hobbymate FrSky compatible RX.

I've had very good experiences with other Hobbymate products, starting with some 2204 motors that I bought a few years ago and continue to use frequently.

Below is all that came with this RX purchase:

As you can see above, this came with 2 output plugs ... one that can be used for simple SBus output to something like a simple gyro like the A3Super2 I will first use for range testing AND another that will allow me to wire it to a quad's flight controller.

Binding was straight-forward for FrSky. Hold the teeny little button when powering up to trigger bind mode.

LEDs
Green with TX connected
Flashing red with TX off
IIRC, there was another LED lit in bind mode (yellow?)

Discovered sensors (nothing connected to RX) are:
1. RSSI working
2. RxBt 0 volts

SBUS output apparently works fine to a connected A3S2 gyro.

RSSI appears to be similar to my other FrSky full range receivers.

All of the below using range test mode with RX 18 inches off ground. TX carried down slight hill.

At 30 paces RSSI was about 50 with normal LOS. (Drops to critical if I turned away with body blocking signal.)

At 40 paces RSSI reading was at about 44-46 (varied between under/at low warning)
