Step 34

Like always, nice kit and easy start...

Make sure you follow instructions and you'll be fine. However; up to this point pay close attention to step 29.... square up the parts and don't over sand. Makes a difference with next 2 steps fitting part 28 and 29.

Tail Group Step 37-42

If you could buy SA kits at HobbyTown, you'd find them in the RC Puzzle section..... Perfect fit.

Note that in step 39, hardwood elevator joiner part E6, is found in the Hardware bag.

Tail feathers set aside...

My wife and I said that we wouldn't settle for anything less with our last home. So, yes it's really great and yes HVAC installed throughout the 2300 sqft. There are 4 others rooms plus a full bath and one being a she shed..... other 3 are a media/game room, pool room and storage as well as the mechanical room.
So grateful to have such a great space, but a long time coming. Besides, all the aircraft deserve a descent hanger.

Wing Step 43 - 60

Pretty uneventful, but glad to always have CA "un-cure" on the bench. Not always for my fingers......

Pay attention to all Notes, especially to ensure parts are seated flush, oriented and aligned correctly etc......

Final Assembly

Ready for covering......
Going to use ULTRACOTE Parklite. Cream color because my SkyScout 425 will be covered the same.

Step 61, Change 1

While doing some Air Camper research I came across AIRPORT-DATA.COM and liked the color scheme of this 1972 PIETENPOL.

So, I'm adding the black to the cream color.

I usually cover the wing bottom first however; because of the dihederal and wing tips. It was easier to reverse stand cover the top first.

Receiver Tray

Step 62 - 65

My Rx/ESC PKZ3351 board was thicker than the slots in the RT nylon clip, but noticed after mounting in the fuselage. Because mine didn't engage to hold in place, I used some 3M Extreme Mounting Tape by filling in the two spaces between the RT bottom skids. I've used this tape in other projects as well as securing gyros, shouldn't add any significant weight either.

Note Step 63
Creating "Pushrod Detail"

All traditional Z-bends lay flat on the bench, but Snake bend tails should be bent so they stand 90 degrees to your bench. The Snake bend is used on the servo endow the pushrod.

Note that you can bend both left and right handed snake bends.

Here’s a link to bending perfect pushrods;
