Has there ever been a R/C SR-71 Blackbird?

I would love to see some pics of this if anyone has some. I would guess it would not fly very well.

That plane has been done many times now. Seen many pictures in model mags. There was a kit or two around for awhile.

I have one. From plans by Ralph Salvidar. Kit cut in Calif. About 60 % Covered in balsa. Been hanging in my storage building for 9 years. Have seen pictures of Ralph's in flight.

I was browsing e-bay a while back and saw a SR-71 for ducted fans - it looked a little older but in very good shape - you might try going on there and just do a general search

here's my hobby labs modified to a pusher version! It has a 3t mega on 3s 2040ma 20c 340 kokams. I am in the process of converting a new one with better landing gear! It's so small and fast i added a plane finder to the top of the fuse!

I've seen two threads on profile SR-71 parkies. Don't have the links though.

I long time ago there was one offered on TV on one of those infomercials... I tried to go to the site and order one some months later but they were gone

it was something like www.SR-71.com

but like I said ..that was a looong time ago

Found it....it's a rocket-launched plane/glider that you use radio control to fly it back down to the ground

That is the Hobby Lab SR-71. That is the same one as Demetrius has converted. I bought two of the rocket versions (no RC gear) last year on sale. Haven't converted them yet.
