UMX WWI Aircraft release in 2019?

The new year has begun and I hope Horizon makes good on the release of a UMX WWI aircraft soon...
My question: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...&postcount=108
and Jason M's response: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...&postcount=109

I think we have all waited patiently long enough

Tower had 3 nice ones that i had to convert to spektrum a few years back that were 3 channel. Could start by bringing those 3 back.

If you are referring to the Flyzone Micro Fokker DR1, it was not very good overall. It looked great but was too small and too fragile.

If you were referring to the Great Planes ElectriFly Fokker DR-1, that was not a micro sized aircraft. It was however a beautiful plane and I wish they still sold them.

No, the s.e.5a, tiger moth and nieuport is what i was referring to. Forgot about the fokker and the albatross. I still have the moth and nieuport that i converted using a vapor brick to spektrum.

While waiting for HH to release the WWI, bought a Beechcraft D-17 PNP from RageRC. First time seeing 1S plane with retracts. You have to supply your own Spektrum brick R/X.

My son gave me this one a few years ago and I flew her once and now she hangs in my living room in the corner. It flew great and I didn't want to destroy it because it's so darned pretty. I also have the DVII

I an not really a fan of the Beechcraft D-17 PNP from RageRC so I will continue waiting....
I am also hoping that all future releases are 2 cell brushless, but will still be happy with a 1 cell brushed.

That sure does make a great static display model.
Here is a link for a static model for a good price:

A Sopwith Camel would be great.
It appears that another non-UMX aircraft has just been released. It does appear to be really nice though .

My hopes were high when it was leaked that a new WWI aircraft from Horizon Hobby was going to be released this week.
but.....
While it looks amazing, it appears to be about 25lbs too heavy

Oh well, we still have 10 more months left in the year...

that is likely to be their WW1 UMX model though now they have D7 drawings done. i will be in for 1 for sure, quite a few folks i fly with have the ARES D7's and they are only 3 channel but are really nice. a 4ch version like the PT17 would be a winner, especially in different livery options.
