Pusher VS Slot VS Tractor VS my Wallet!

I am in the process of building two identical planes. one will be a pusher, the other a prop slot. They are Deltas of my
own design. I will ballast for the same weight and both will have the same motor, esc, batteries, prop, servos.
The colors will be different for ID while flying together.

Anyone interested?

Of course!
Even though I am ancient I'm always wanting to learn.
It may be a good idea to have the front of the slot and the trailing edge near the pusher prop identical in shape and clearance.

The trailing edge of the pusher, nearly done does not lend itself to the slot config. I was planning
on making the slot as small as possible for max noise.

This is a similar plane, same wing as the ones I'm working on, you can see at the first of the
video how the trailing edge is done. The planes I'm working on now weigh about half of
what this one does. Same span and length. This is one of my best designs. That's why
I am using the general idea, know good flier.

Good project! And if you can source a third can of paint, a tractor version with the motor up front would complete the comparison set...

I second that suggestion. I am thinking of moving the motors to tractor on a couple of my wings.

You fellows can take a semi simple project and make it a crusade!
I need to assemble a team, buy a building, get a permit, go national
sell stock, build a wall,,,,,

... and of course, a slope soarer version for the purists.
I do love the way that as soon as you have a bright idea, the world is full of advice on how you can do more work to make it better!

Yes, you need to add a front wheel drive into the mix.
