Thanks Jim, its been easier than I thought (though the ply formers were a small chore). Just weighed the empty airframe with all the bits on it as seen in the pics: 5.9 ounces! Better than I did on my Bearcat and that was a kit!

Beautiful job Slope!
The Jug has such nice lines, even "naked".

Equal massive kudos to slopes building ability, and Jim's plans!

Thanks Purple! I needed to challenge myself and force myself to get away from kits and start building some of these great ships only available through plans. A friend found plans for a sp400 ME-110, so thats on the list as well (after the DH-Mosquito and ME-262!).

Thanks again

I havent seen the plans yet myself, but my friend says he has them. As soon as I see them I will let ya know what they look like.

I did some final touch up sanding yesterday on the P-47. I cut out the glass for the wing fuse bottom and tail feathers, but NO MIXING CUPS! I had to run out and get some by then of course, it was time to do 4th of July stuff. Hopefully I will get the glass on tonight.

Glassed the airframe, and put the second thinned coat on to make sure there were no dry spots (could see some dry spots after the glass application). Wiped that down and now its drying. Should be able to prime it tonight (things dry quick in my garage here )
