Review & Test Flight - Zippy 3S 500mah 35C LIPO

Review & Test Flight - Zippy 3S 500mah 35C LIPO

Here is a link to the Video:

I decided to see if these LIPOs would work well in my "Glue & Fly Series" F-22 Micro V2.
They are approx. 8.5 grams heavier than the LIPOs I normally use in this Parkjet which are 3S 450mah 65C LIPOs.
I thought they may be a bit heavy but the Micro Parkjet handled it just fine ;-)
I beleive this Micro Parkjet would not have any problem carrying a 3S LIPO up to 55 grams and still have plenty Thrust-to-Weight Ratio.
These LIPOs seems to perform fairly well and I have no complaints so far.

Here is a link to this LIPO:

I had a set of those a couple years back for my Eflite 280 size airframes, notably the Edge 540 and Viking 12. They did well for a few months, but I wasn't impressed by the longevity of them. Good for the price, but definitely a budget battery.

Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Yeah, it's pretty much hit and miss with RC equipment.
I hope these hold up for me over time. I've purchased Zippy and Nanotechs over the past couple of years and so far they've help up well except for my Zippy 3S 1000mah LIPOs. They really started falling off after 40-50 cycles.
I'd like to get at least 100 cycles out of a LIPO before it falls off too much.
What LIPOs have given you the best results over time?
Happy Flying!

The Admiral brand from MotionRC has been very good, even in my higher performance aircraft such as EDF jets and 3D flyers. And I've had decent luck with Tattu packs in my drones.
Both brands are mid-range when it comes to price. Cheaper than you'll pay for something like a ThunderPower, but more expensive than something from hobbyking.

For example:

This is the pack that I replaced those zippy 500mah ones with when they died. A couple dollars more, but they'll have more punch and live a longer life.

Thanks much for the information!
That's not a bad price at all.
I have heard a lot of good things about the Tattu LIPOs.
Next time I need to order LIPOs I will definitely test them out.
Happy Flying!
