Yeah I love how taileron or full elevator stabs feel in the air makes the plane slide on turns much more scale but on a cheaper smaller 70mm EDF it's not necessary

Yes, it was a design choice to save complication, weight and cost.

And hopefully nobody minds if I post a few more pics...

Assuming the announcement is tomorrow since you're posting details and pics on a Wed evening??

Nicely done. Looks very clean and like the way the mains are hidden in that dark blue motif when retracted. Price might not be competitive with other 70mm F-16's especially as no flaps and no tailerons but quality sure seems there. If you don't have an F-16 what's not to like ?

No other similar class (in scale detail, performance and completion level) 70mm F-16s have full flying stabs that I'm aware of. And the full-scale F-16 uses flaperons that you can easily set up on this model if you'd like. That said, myself and many others don't use flaperons (or tailerons) on our 90mm and even 1/6th scale (or larger) turbine-powered F-16s so I don't personally see any need to use them on a 70mm model

And hopefully the videos we'll post will clearly show that you don't really need them (and the first one might be live before you know it!)

- not only that traditional stab elevator set ups are more effective than full flying stabs.
Think of the traditional stab elevator as a wing with a big flap.
Plus if you want stabilators that badly you can model it to suit your taste.

Looks great. Wish there was simple nav lights too. That and paint job and as3x would have truly made it a step up from the grey fms. Still it looks KILLER.

Is this Version capable doing ACM routines?
Like loop, roll circle, cuban 8, hammerhead..

Or there is a need for better power to do so?
Dec 05, 2018, 10:23 PM
It has plenty of power (and control!) to easily perform small and large loops (from level flight!), Cuban 8s, rolling circles, harriers and more! Can't wait until we can share some video with you guys...

Question is...
Will this version come with pylons and missiles for the wings, like the grey version?

.

I'm pretty sure it does, but I'm double checking just to be certain!
