Wow! This is so simple. I'm naturally lazy. I love this simplicity! What the largest model you used this on? Some of your larger models have tube hinges.

The largest is 2 mtrs. It is very simple to do actually.

Yes Ari. Or more accurately, they have pocket hinges. Lot of work!

You mention DS in your video. Is there any setup outside of that where you'd recommend against silicone? Does it have to be foam core, or do these hinges work on less-porous materials?

I have used them on a variety of models. All types.

Not at all. Foam core has nothing to do with their suitability for a hinge. I use them on a fully composite hollow moulded wing to replace torn kevlar hinges, for example.

I have yet to find a construction material that it will not work with.
When using it against a wood drag spar and control surface leading edge spar, I paint the wood with epoxy and allow to cure first, then run the hinge. CA also works for this.
