Look around a bit and you should discover several shades of Brown->Tan tape.

Any store that I may happen to be at will receive a PEEK at its' tape selections.

What I find ODD is that the ALL Black and White Checkered tape has Disappeared.
I can't explain or understand that.
Not packing, painting nor Duct type s of tape. NO Checkerboard tape whatsoever !

Not quite finished the covering .. but had to go and maiden the her ... just covering with coloured packaging tape

Not an abundance of power .. enough .. but was surprised at the short flight times, both were less than 4 minutes using 1500/3s battery .. this motor https://hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-...___store=en_us maybe I have it over proped with a 11 x 7 prop

Nice!! Floats along lovely mate! That motor should fold the wings back! 430W ....??
Says 11x5 on 2s...... 10x6 on 4s......
Something doesn't seem right..... I have the same motor at 1400kv on 3s turning a 8x6 doing 100mph!

Nice, scale flight !
Congrats on another well done design.

I doubt if a full sized BB ever did a Roll or a loop ;>}

I thought you had a 28 not a 36 motor. hmmmm

Yeah Dukes right !

Is your ESC somehow limiting ?
Or is the % on the TX setups set low ?

Or are you using a 2s vs 3s pak ?

Finished the covering (coloured packaging tape) you guys know me, I'm not big on finishing

Sorry about the pilot, its the only one I have left

Was using a 1500/3s battery Bob, will try it with a 11 x 5 prop .. bit limited with my stock of large props

Dont worry mate she looks great. Maybe a couple of decals on the wing.
Put your tester on it mate. My 1400kv is comfortable running 50amps. The 1000kv your using is rated at 30 amps. Should be doing unlimited vertical

There are number of Busts available on Thingiverse for free download.

I grabbed most of them recently.

Otto or Manfred look about right for the BlackBurn

Not sure if this link will work for non signed up folks but here goes ...

You can scale them with your slicer or CAD to whatever size works.

Plenty of pics of your build Bob, I would like to see how it goes together with someone else building it

Flew it again a few times today and the wind (although quite light) does have quite an effect on it, I can only assume its because of the undercamber .. maybe it would be better with just a flat bottom .. just leave the ribs flat on the bottom or I will redo the ribs
