The Stinson SR-7 through SR-10 Reliant "gullwing" series has always fascinated modelers. I prefer the SR-7 and SR-8 with the four-piece flat panel windshield. This could make a popular foam parkflyer model similar to the Dehavilland Beaver. The tapered gull wing, large streamlined wheel pants, and cowl bumps for radial engine rocker boxes give the plane a rakish "art deco" look. This design is a tough subject as a stick and tissue model but a realistic foam version that is adequately powered should be a good seller. Please consider develping this great looking "golden age" executive aircraft. You can read up on a vintage 42" w/s Berkeley Stinson that I'm building in the scale modelling section of E-Zone.
