Sea Scout

Hi Guys

Well I thought for my first model for a long long time I would do something very simple and something I have had on my drawing board for a long time

This one is a combination of Jürgen Be and GermanTigger's Judi Jetsream and the Polaris and my Vixen .. similar wing to the Polaris and my Vixen and a similar fuselage to the Judy .. here's hoping it will be a good little water/slide on grass foamie

I have converted my drawings to G-Code so will be cutting out the model on my CNC machine over the next few days

Just done a few little mods so I can use this little motor (see pic) and up to an 8" prop

Let me know what you think

With this weekends' Polar Outbreak here in the USA,
this design makes me want to do some Snow Scooting with it.

The Model Plane Foam guy has even been flying his Old Timer on Skis in Michigan.

It's not quite that cold in Indiana YET !

This design ought to be similar to the Vixen which I always considered to be
serious Polaris competition.

Looks like a fun build. Subscribed.
Whats the specs on that motor. Can't make it out from the picture. Guess the eyes aren't what they use to be.

Good to see a new design Lockey. Lockey must be a VW Beetle fan because here is yet another rear motor build.

Foamies rules
With a few design changes it would nearly be a space shuttle

Looks like a neat design, thanks and happy flying,

Lockey,
You may want to make it easier to replace the nose.....you know how your designs are Since this is gonna be a El Nino winter I am thinking that I need one of these for snow scooting. Also, my wife's apprentice might need a set of floats! Are you gonna use MPF for this build? Keep up the great work!

David
