Yes,,, Yes,,, Yes!!! Finally a quality and good sized f-22!!
I don't post much, but I couldn't hold back on this one.

I think the F-22 platform is one of the greatest Jets ever for RC, I've owned and still have numerous other size and brand F-22's, and when compared to other types of RC jets, by far the F-22 has the widest flight envelope I've ever seen. Not much out there has its over all top speed ability's, combined with its over all slow flying characteristics and slow landing capabilities as well.
I've often told fellow RC pilots that in my opining an F-22 should be considered as a first RC jet due to how good they can fly at slow speeds, and how manageable they really are.

I've been patiently waiting and waiting for this from a quality RC company to produce a f-22 in this size!
This is going to sideline a lot of other RC's on the Wish-list,, and of course the standard line to my wife and friends who just don't understand this passion... "this is the one,, no more for a while" LOL

Great info from Alpha on Hobby Squawk for those trying to decided on 6 or 8S:

Hi there Alphaflight, welcome home to Hobby Squawk! I fly the Admiral 6s 5000, in series with an Admiral 2s 5000. The result is a 8s 5000 with fits in the F-22 and flies it wonderfully. The added advantage is I can still unplug the 2s 5000 and use just the 6s 5000 in any of the other 90mm jets from Freewing and most of the 80mms, too.

This is the connector I use:

If you do decide to use two 4s 4000 or two 4s 5000 in series instead of the 6s+2S, I'd still recommend using EC5 connectors instead of XT60s due to the amp draw of the 8s system.

While the F-22 is not as flashy as some in looks (by design thanks to stealth needs) they sure do fly great! I will probably be on board with the second release. I thought it would have been a 35 also but I am sure this plane will be very forgiving to fly, yet wuite capable... will have some adaptability for a wide variety of pilot skills.

I'm thinking the 8s version by adding 2 cells to my 6S as well. I see they say 119 mph on 8S which is what I like. Waiting for 8S video.

Yeah, I'd love to see an 8s video before pulling the trigger but I am a bit worried it may sell out before that happens.

I went 8S on the F-4 (with a JF90 and HET 700-68-1680kv) because I wanted the extra power on it. But after seeing Alpha's 6S videos last night, I think 6S will be plenty for this bird. I am not looking for speed on this one, but more aerobatics.

Manual recommends a 5000, of course that doesn't mean you couldn't. Might have CG issues though and very short flight times
