Seagull Edge 540 (180) Engine Mounting

The seagull manual says to drill the holes for the mounts and then attach them. However it doesnít provide any mounting template or anyway to center the engine mounts so that it will come out in the right spot on the Cowl. Does anybody have any advice about how to drill the holes for this? Itís the blue one.

i work on boats so i'm fairly new to aeromodelling, but i'd put grease(or prussian blue if you're a machinist) on the motor mount and hold the motor/mount just above the surface and put the cowl over(very tricky) and onto the nose, center the spinner with your eyes and press down where you want it, the grease should leave a mark where you want your holes
