I followed the thread for awhile at first with some interest. As it went on the minus's seemed to far out weight the pluses. There are some that still like them after lotsa mods and tweaking.

Rifle is a great plane for the price, its an awesome first pylon racer.

A LOT of problems with the rifle can be associated to the "noob" building/flying them, but honestly theyre damn good fun for the price.

If your paying much more than the RRP for a rifle, the Voodoo is a much nicer plane and in a different league. You get what you pay for

Agreed, Voodoo is in a different league. The thing about the Rifle is that it is exactly what you describe at $100 dollars but at $200 (which is what Håkan said it would cost him) in my book it is not worth it, spend the extra for the real deal.

Yea,I see there is a lot of guys love to buy airframes with lots of issues, and do all the fixes themselves......for me,I like to skip all that BS and have it cherry out of the box. That is one of the reasons I have enjoyed the Miro VooDoo so much, you can build it in a couple hours, then just fly the poop out of it.

So after a week straight of flying and tweeking my much larger Swist,I decided to give it a rest.....and BUST OUT the VooDoo and knock the dust off..Well,long story short, that damn evil little monster made me look like a fool...I chased that thing around the sky for 3 minutes straight, always two steps behind it . On a good note, the second flight went much better,I was only one step behind it.

Hi guys,

I know this is off topic but I trust the opinions of the participants in this thread and I was wondering what you guys thought of this:

Is it worth a buy?

I check out what this might be tomorrow morning in the Swiss shop. Who knows they might have a bargin on the Voodoo

http://www.eflight.ch/index.php

Run through google translate:

"On 12 May 2012, it's that time again!

You will find rest items, unique items, bargains, various electronics and much more at low prices!

In addition, we offer you this day a special price Pops, further information, see our latest newsletter!

We open our ramp at 09:00 clock."
No luck there. But I will resist the temptation do purchase a rifle and go for a Voodoo anf buy it from Höllein. 4-6 weeks of delivery time but I guess it's worth it

It looks like the Swift, I think Jacko thinks the same, another retailer here http://www.t9hobbysport.com/item.asp...192&prodid=691 and the supplier(?) here http://www.launchmodel.cn/enindex.asp

A few EU shops stock it, not sure where else tho. Roomy fuse too.
