Ok, I ask Patrick Now.
I post the answer asap !

Btw, I watch the video again... The problem is that you can't feel the speed of this racer on the video...
A new one is on the way without slow motion... Don't forget the valiums !!

Hi guy's.

Nice video indeed!

Was wondering what everyone uses as far as flaperons/spoilerons go for landing.

I am used to landing my Hotliners with the ailerons up as far as I can get them. Usualy more then 45 degrees up on both ailerons and some elevator mixed in to keep the nose down.

In the "manual" it states 2mm flaps/ailerons down for landing.

Okey this is not a Hotliner but a Pylon racer. Still, anyone tried the above?

I suppose the problem is the throws on the ailerons and also centering if I increase the throws. What is the max up aileron you can get on your plane?

As far as flying mine, I now have all the bits I need and it should be ready shortly.

Jos.

Hi Jos,

I think i'll go for the ailerons down with this model. Ailerons up, ok, you break the speed, but the model fall like a stone. With the ailerons down, you can slow down the model much more for a safer landing... This is the option I'll choose.

Any experiences with this setup for a pylon racer ?
